Whilst there are many business matters that each individual Chamber of Commerce will lobby for at a local level, there are some barriers to growth, where a regional response has more power by presenting a united voice to support improvements. As a collective, all four Chambers of Commerce working in collaboration have more power to connect and support, and give voice at a regional and national level.
Key areas where we have historically collaborated to lobby and influence are around large-scale infrastructure improvements such as road, rail and digital connectivity. All four Chambers of Commerce are delivering the Local Skills Improvement Plans (LSIP) for the East of England, designed to put employers at the heart of the skills agenda.
