Quarterly Economic Survey (QES)

The Chamber network’s Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) is the largest independent business survey in the UK. All 53 Chambers of Commerce in the UK take part each quarter.

The QES is a leading indicator, often picking up big changes in the economy long before other surveys or official statistics. It is used by the Chancellor, the Bank of England and the International Monetary Fund to compare the health of the UK economy.

Chambers East gathers local, regional and national data and each Chambers of Commerce presents their local perspective to help businesses understand what is happening in their local economy and how that compares to the regional and national economy.

Budgets / Fiscal Statements

Chambers East campaigns on behalf of the eastern region business community, articulating to the Prime Minister, Chancellor and Cabinet Members what our business communities need when considering their economy planning for Budgets and Fiscal Statements.  Contact your local Chambers of Commerce to express your views and get your voice heard when it comes to your businesses economic needs.
